The Christmas markets are in Bolzano form the 27th Nov to 23rd Dec. The markets are a very European tradition and well worth a look. See the tourist information in Selva for the details on getting there.

Cortina is one of the most famous of all Italian ski resorts and is well worth a visit for the skiing, shopping and people watching. Cortina is a picturesque 90 min drive from Campitello, with several ski areas along the way which are covered by your superski pass - just stop, have a ski and continue on. The easiest way to get there is by car.

- Venice
-
This is an option but you will need at least 3 hours to get there by car. A better option is to organise a stay in Venice before or after your stay in Campitello. There are direct bus transfers to and from Piazzale Roma in Venice and the Marco Polo airport to Val Gardena on Saturdays, or you can book a taxi (mini van) to meet you.
